Today Im spending some time on pinterest.com & looking up recipes for slow cookers. I cannot wait to put some of these recipes together :-) When those cold lazy winter days come around I know me & my family will be enjoying some of this goodness!

Davids 1st Birthday

OMG let me start off by saying one thing & one thing only, I will never do a kids birthday party at my house ever again. People simply don't have any respect & courtesy towards a place that someone else calls home what so ever. I never imagined how disrespectful people could actually be towards the things in your home. But enough of negativity, lol, the party went well , I was really tired from planning & preparing everything . My sisters Tatiyana , Inna , & Nadiya were a huge help to me, that's for sure! David got a ton of new clothes 18-24 months. Thats what he wears. I am exciting cause I barely have to buy him anything. Even though the party went well, next time I will do it else where ( park or chucky cheese ) .  I mean seriously , I had to clean my house spotless, wash all the baseboards, kitchen, bathroom, my room, kids room. Kids kept making messes everywhere. I couldn`t keep up. Towards the end of the party , I cleaned the kids room & locked it. I was so pooped out, when everyone left I put the kids to sleep & fell asleep to watching a movie on the couch :-/

Hello Fall

Today is October 4th 2012
Its been a very hot week, but the forecast is showing a much cooler weather coming up this weekend & all next week. I am so excited. I can finally keep my windows open to let the cool breeze through the house. Wear sweaters & uggs around the house. Hot coffee or tea.
Today we finally made arrangement with a babysitter thats located around the corner from our house. Which is so nice , cause I can focus on the office & I will be 100% available for taking all incoming calls :-) .
This is honestly a huge relief off my shoulders. Lets hope all things go as planned.

Should I cut my long hair short?

So , I have been wanting a change, I'm talking about my hair. Right now , my hair is little below my bra line ( in back ) . With two little kids I fee like its going to cutt my time in half when getting ready to go out somewhere. I wear my hair up or in a bun nearly 90% of the time , so whats the point of having long hair? Just so I can leave it down once a month, Im getting tired of it  , although I love how it looks when I have it curled, David ends up pulling on my hair anyways... plus summer time is coming up & I think is would be great so just chop it off. Im still super scared. But I think I'm just going to have to do it & see if I like it or not. My hair appt. is this Saturday @10:30AM , the plan is to either get more layers & dark rich color or cut is medium short w/ side bangs & dark rich hair color. Wish me luck... Below are the pictures of hair style Im going for :-)

We bough a Bugaboo Cameleon for David & we totally LOVE IT! Its an all black frame & chassis. I am in love with the quality and the way it works for me. No complains so far!

I went shopping to Ikea for some dishes yesterday. I got a white set for 12 people. I like the set because it simple & I can always dress it up with accessories :-) I got new utensils! I am so relieved!

My next goal is to completely change my living room look. I need new couches, curtains & a rug! That would be a good start & Ill decorate around the furniture :-) Exciting , but waiting for more funds before I can do that!

I need to get curtains for the kitchen , living room, kids room & master bedroom.

Kids need a big warm cozy rug in their bedroom as well.

So much to do ... So little time ...ugh!

You are an excellent little infant now. You sleep & eat very well!

You are gaining wheight very fast! As a matter of fact you havent lost an ounce since you have been out of the hospital. Good job buddy!

David also had his very first photoshoot @ 4 weeks  & he still did an AMAZING job for the photographer! Gods beautiful creation - Mommy is so greatful for you!

Can you say " aaaaawwwwww!!" Melts me heart , this little guy!

I am a little behind on this , but better late then never. I've been wanting to record the kids milestones by  creating a timeline sort of thing.  So I am going to start out by adding pictures from Davids arrival into this world & going from there on. Im so excited :)

I am very blessed to have a very fast Labor & Delivery . God helped me deliver a perfect & healthy baby boy! I am thankful to God for our little blessing "Davidka" !

Lesson# 1 : when you buy an iPhone please do your self a favor and buy a screen protector and a good iPhone case. If you decide to buy an otter box, buy the real one and not the one from the flea market ;-)

Perfect Sunday

Today is Sunday! We are on our way to Davis to watch go cart race that they have going on today! I'm pretty excited, because I know how much this means to my husband Alex and my daughter Alexa! David my little angel is sleeping peacefully sleeping in the carseat :-) The weather for today is 74 :-))))) Super warm and peaceful Sunday! Im looking for more of these kind of days to come! I love when we are all together! My hubby , Alexa and David! Brings joy and peace to my heart! I don't need anything else but my family with me at all times ! Quality time with my family is my priority! Hope everyone else on tr world is having a wonderful day as well!

A lot on my mind lately...

Gosh I really hate the fact that I cannot seem to find the time to be alone so I can sit down & start typing away. It really does help me cope & think things through once I have it typed out. :) Well I have a lot on my mind right now. Starting from Alexas Bday Party Plans - to why cant my house EVER stay clean - to Vaccines for the baby :// I created this blog so can keep track of the kids milestones & at the same time I wanted to write out my thoughts that runs through my mind NON stop & I need to get it out of my system .

So Alexas 4th Bday was yesterday March 1 :) She got a little cold & was coughing all day . I wanted to do activities with her , but I couldnt do much cause she wasnt feeling well. Later that evening Alexs mom had everyone over at her house for dinner ( since its her bday as well ) Alexa got presents from Anna, Tanya ( sister in law ) & GMA & Great Gma :)  Alexa had a bday cake & I make delish jello. We sang her a happy Bday & she was on clouds. She felt special - i know! She couldnt stop talking about how fun her bday was . Anna set up the table for the kids with paint - Alexas favorite thing to do :) That was about it for how we spent Alexas bday.

Im at times very frustrated at how other people / girls can keep their house so clean & organized , but mine doesnt look how I would like it to for the most part. I wonder why. I try my best everyday to manage my time & clean , cook, watch after the kids, & clean some more. I dont like a messy house & I just wish I knew of a way to ALWAYS keep it clean , neat & organized. One day .. one day :) I still wonder how other families manage to keep their homes so tidy/ Help!

David is 5 months & that little guy is just getting over a cold. Ive about 4 restless nights with him now.  I was feeling poopy all day today , but somehow still managed to get through the day without a nap. He is teething , i can see two uppers & 2 lowers trying to make their way through. I have been using orajel & humphreys tablets ( not sure if those work or not for us though ) . I will creat another blog where I want to focus talking about David more ;-) He has a lot going on right now.

Ive read a few articles online today about vaccinating kids/ babies. Im very much leaning towards not to vaccinate David, although we have already gave Alexa a few , I stopped giving her shots around or before 2 years old ( I dont remember for sure ). David hasnt had any at all yet. Im planning to keep it that way unless something changes my mind. I read that they put things like mice brain & pigs blood & other nasty stuff into the shots. And those things cause different deceases. I was like WOW I dont want that for or IN my kid. Also if we dont give shots to the baby, since the vaccines are GOV operated , they can easily put something in the air & kill anyone they want. I wonder why they call it " the flu season just hit ... yesterday " is what my Pediatrician said. That really made me think. I feel like the govmnt uses shots / vaccines to control the population BIG TIME. I mean if you ask me thats a GREAT way to do it, right?! I think so! Enough said , I just dont want to vaccinate my child. I believe that God will protect us as long as His will is upon our lives. I give my family into the Lords hands. His mercy is upon us everyday. I trust & believe in that.

I should conclude this post with a little debate about what I should to for Alexas bday party. I had a few things in mind.
#1. Have Zhanas fam & Milas fam come over to the house with kids. I'll cook dinner or lunch. The kids can spend the day playing & doing crafts. I think this idea is great because Alexa will get quality time with ther friends :)
#2. Invite all Alexas cousins for ice cream & then hit the park, when kids get hungry buy pizza . Or get pizza, go to the park & then hit the ice cream shop :-)
#3. I really wanted to get the cousins together & have them create their own pizza & bake it. That will be their lunch :0)) . They can all be involved & it will be rewarding to eat what they created :)
#4. THink think think think ... grrrrr my mind doesnt stop. I am the only like this LOL! yikes!

Alexa's 4th Birthday Party Thoughts! 1.20.12

Alexa's 4th Bday is coming up on March 1st. I have been thinking of cute ways of doing everything on a budget. Things like party favors , decorations & food ideas.
For party favors I was thinking of using baby food bottles & filling them with candies & tying paper /ribbon around the lid part. But I would hate it if one of the kids drops & brakes the glass jar. :( So I'm still thinking of kid friendly party favors. I do NOT like pinata idea at all!!

Theme : Im thinking of doing Strawberry Shortcake - thats only if I can find someone to bake a cake that I fell in LOVE with. I first need to confirm with Alexa what is it that SHE wants as her birthday theme ;).

How cute would this be ? Only if it read " Come to my 4th Birthdya & Party ! " <3

So these are just some basic ideas, I need to remind my self that this all has to be done on a very tight BUDGET!

For food part - Im debating between home : Pizza & cupcakes or Johns Incredible Pizza! Think, think, think!!!

Training Alexa to sleep in her room! 1.20.12

Today I decided that Alexa should be sleeping in her own room once & for all. She is turning 4 in March & its kind of getting to a point where its getting uncomfortable sleeping with her. Not to mention we have a new co-sleeper - David with us! Alexa has gotten so tall & she is one rough sleeper!! I dont know why I decided to do this tonight , but I did & guess what ?! It totally worked! When we told her she has to sleep in her room , she got very upset & started throwing a BIG fitt! I tried talking to her about a friends birthday thats coming up soon ( to get her thinking about something fun) she wasnt having it. So then I told her   Iwould read her as many books as she wanted before. She then decided to help me clean up some clothes. Then she tried on some dress up clothes I had recently bought her - she danced around in that for about 10 good minutes ( you see how she is streching time out ;) ) She then refused to get changed into her pajamas! I somehow again managed to talking her into getting her one peice pajama on & getting her settles in bed. Once in her bed - I read her about 6 books - she asked A LOT of questions - which I a was very happy to answer as long as she remained in her bed :) ! After reading her the 6th book I decided to tell her that it was bed time & I was going to pray with her & then she would have to go to sleep. She got very upset again  & started kicking the book shelf.  Here I am  %95% through the process & everything will go down the drain ... I started thinking of ideas & quick . I told her we can bake cup cakes tomorrow is stayed in the bed. She said didnt want to bake anything. When I told her we can make jello - her eyes lit up!! I'm thinking " THANK YOU JESUS!" She stated she wants to make purple jello , I said no problem , She asks for me to show her . I go in the kitchen bring her purple jello & set it on her book shelf near her bed. She then finally let me pray with her & to my surprise asked me when I was going to leave after I sat there for a while . I asked if she wanted me to leave now & she said yes! When leaving her room she wanted me to turn off the lights , so I did. I feel like giving my self a high 5 tonight! Hopefully I wont be making jellos everyday :) but hey if thats what it takes then so be it!
