Coffee Area Before & After

I've been trying to clean out some of my hot spots.Here is my coffee area, which was much more cluttered before taking the pictures. But I thought .. oh well!

A thought of the day Wednesday July 24 2013

While my almost 2 year old son is napping, I am writing this post. I wanted to express a few thoughts;

Let me start off my saying that I am a little sad that summer is almost over. We only have few weeks of July + August & some of September, but in all reality summer ends for us on August 15th. , because Alexa starts Kindergarten. Im very nervouse to put my innocent child in school amongst other children.But we will have to see how everything goes. Our orginal plan was to homeschool, but i dont think I am able to. We havea 2 year old, I'm affraid of not providing Alexa with the attention she needs & the educational experience. I think the only thing she needs for school at this point is a back pack & some basic items like pencils & paper.

Second Thought; My 27th birthday is next week on August 1st. I havent really thought about how I wanted to spend my day. Years before I always had dinner with my girlfriends & the next day spent time with my lovely family.  ( Last year a few people went to Sun Splash with us, it was so much fun! )
This year I'll probably get together with 4 of my sisters + my mom + 2 girlfriends for lunch / dinner ( place undecided ). The next day I want to spend with my husband & kids :). I picture getting my manis & pedis done early in the day. Hair + Make up. Lunch @ Labou ( soup & sandwich ). Park with kids before it gets too hot/ maybe something like the Fountains in Roseville. Then we can pay a visit to our most favorite place The Golden Dragon Buffet. Frozen Yogurt or a good cake for desert elsewhere before we head back home.

Third Thought; Davids 2nd birthday is coming in September. Its been on my mind on what I should do, because we are definitely going to celebrate it. If our back yard gets landscaped in time , i can throw a party in the back yard with whole bunch of kids activities & food. But the next question is what if it rains? Then what? Thats why its always safe to chose something indoorsy : Chuck E Cheeses, Johns Incredible Pizza ? The only thing I dont like about these places is unhealthy food option. Before David turns 2 I need to schedule a family / David photoshoot. It would be perfect timing cause Alexa will be in school by then. :) So at this point a family photo shoot is a must. :)

Fourth Thought; I'm in search for a good picture camera. If anyone out there could give me legit advice between Nikon & Canon , I would truly appreciate it .

Fifth Thought; Final thought for today , or else I will explode. This is something that has been bugging me for a while on top of never ending wish list. My yellow walls & ceilings have been painted the same color even since moved in 3 years ago. I need to find a painter who can repaint everything for my for a reasonable fee. I honestly don't even know what reasonable is , I should start off with getting a few estimates first & going from there. If its too expensive to repaint the ceiling & the walls then I will have to hire someone for the ceilings only & do that walls my self , although i REALLY , i mean REALLY do not want to . I dont like to paint, because Im scared of messing up & I dont look forward to re-painting . Plus , why not just get it done right the first time, agree?! As soon as I done here , I will jump on CL & hunt for some estimates.
Quick note: Before we moved in , I had each color picked out for each room, but my husbands family was leaving to camp soon & they didnt have time to paint each room, so they ended up spray painting the entire house with one color , which I till this day DO NOT get, but hey I am thankful for my yellow walls that I will cary many good memories with, but its time for them to go :)
My ultimate plan for colors in each room are as follows;
Kitchen ( light grey / pastel olive green )
Living room ( light grey / pastel turquoise , I cant even describe the color. its minty blue? GORGEOUS ) I saved a picture from an online video.

Kids Room : I have so many different ideas & thoughts about the kids room, ill only mention the color.

Because my kids share a room , I have to chose a neutral color. I love pastel colors!

(Pastel : Green / Light Grey / Or something with Chevron print. )

Bathroom: ( Darker Grey/ Minty Blue/ Minty Green ) Still up in the air.

Master Bedroom ( I like Mint Green Or That pastel baby blue color. )

Crock Pot Recipes!

Today Im spending some time on pinterest.com & looking up recipes for slow cookers. I cannot wait to put some of these recipes together :-) When those cold lazy winter days come around I know me & my family will be enjoying some of this goodness!

Davids 1st Birthday

OMG let me start off by saying one thing & one thing only, I will never do a kids birthday party at my house ever again. People simply don't have any respect & courtesy towards a place that someone else calls home what so ever. I never imagined how disrespectful people could actually be towards the things in your home. But enough of negativity, lol, the party went well , I was really tired from planning & preparing everything . My sisters Tatiyana , Inna , & Nadiya were a huge help to me, that's for sure! David got a ton of new clothes 18-24 months. Thats what he wears. I am exciting cause I barely have to buy him anything. Even though the party went well, next time I will do it else where ( park or chucky cheese ) .  I mean seriously , I had to clean my house spotless, wash all the baseboards, kitchen, bathroom, my room, kids room. Kids kept making messes everywhere. I couldn`t keep up. Towards the end of the party , I cleaned the kids room & locked it. I was so pooped out, when everyone left I put the kids to sleep & fell asleep to watching a movie on the couch :-/

Hello Fall

Today is October 4th 2012
Its been a very hot week, but the forecast is showing a much cooler weather coming up this weekend & all next week. I am so excited. I can finally keep my windows open to let the cool breeze through the house. Wear sweaters & uggs around the house. Hot coffee or tea.
Today we finally made arrangement with a babysitter thats located around the corner from our house. Which is so nice , cause I can focus on the office & I will be 100% available for taking all incoming calls :-) .
This is honestly a huge relief off my shoulders. Lets hope all things go as planned.

Should I cut my long hair short?

So , I have been wanting a change, I'm talking about my hair. Right now , my hair is little below my bra line ( in back ) . With two little kids I fee like its going to cutt my time in half when getting ready to go out somewhere. I wear my hair up or in a bun nearly 90% of the time , so whats the point of having long hair? Just so I can leave it down once a month, Im getting tired of it  , although I love how it looks when I have it curled, David ends up pulling on my hair anyways... plus summer time is coming up & I think is would be great so just chop it off. Im still super scared. But I think I'm just going to have to do it & see if I like it or not. My hair appt. is this Saturday @10:30AM , the plan is to either get more layers & dark rich color or cut is medium short w/ side bangs & dark rich hair color. Wish me luck...
